Serving as your Sheriff for the past 3 1/2 years has been an honor and a humbling experience. Today, several members of the Sheriff's Office went to Concord for the unveiling of Deputy John Walker's named on the New Hampshire Law Enforcement Memorial Wall. Deputy Walker died in the line of duty April 27, 1886, 130 years ago. For over 130 years Deputy Walker's line of duty death went unnoticed. Learning about Deputy Walker and researching his death was one of the most touching and emotional project I've ever done.
